Medical doctors and consultants generally have look-up book knowledge of drugs they prescribe while pharmacists ought to have actual awareness of the pharmacology surrounding them i.e. the study of medicinal drugs and how they work in the body.
Psychiatrists, on the other end of the reputation spectrum, or “counterfeit doctors” as I prefer to think of them as, are [probably] even less informed about drug use and are nothing more than end sales representatives for big pharma colluding with big government to socially control ill-behaviour issues amongst the population. When it comes to deprescription protocols they are effectively clueless with no decent guidance for patients and their primary prerogative is to increase or change your drug which only exacerbates the iatrogenic harm rather than reduce it.
